What's your "why" for group coaching?

Reflecting on your reasons for wanting to coach groups is the first action we encourage you to take. It will help you understand how to structure your group, price it and lead it.

  • Do you want to impact more people?
  • Do you want to increase your income?
  • Do you want to regain some of your time?
  • Do you get a lot of energy from leading groups?
  • Do you want to provide more value to your clients?
  • Would it be a more affordable way to work with you?
  • Do you want to give your clients an option to continue to work with you after your engagement ends?
  • Do you want to provide a space for your 1:1 clients to connect?
  • What else?

Of course, you may have many reasons for wanting to create a group coaching program. Write them all down and next to each one, write down what it means for you and your group.

Here are some sample questions you can ask yourself:

  • If you want to increase your income: Be precise: How much do you want to make? Will this group allow you to do this?
  • If you want to regain some of your time, how many participants would you need in a group and how much should they pay to ensure your lifestyle is sustainable?

Once you've reflected on your why, remember to let us know in the comments. What is your #1 reason for wanting to master the art of group coaching?
